Default Behringer FCA202

Hello All,

Does anyone have experience with the Behringer FCA202 firewire audio interface?

Partial success - but not with Reaper.

I've managed, after some messing around*, to get the FCA202 to play system sounds and .MP3 file using Media Player and the ASIO driver that comes with the FCA.

I've not though, got it working using ASIO in Reaper. It will run usind WDM but gives the following message when trying to play Making Me Nervous:

Error creating audio: Error initializsing buffers (please re-run the configuration)

Installing ASIO4ALL and running the FCA with that has an interesting effect - sound comes from my laptop speakers *sigh*

I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions and I'm happy to supply more information if needed.

Mike

*messing around - it came down to disconnecting my wireless network card, once it has been plugged in - no chance then until I reboot.

Hi,

I'm still struggling with this. I'd appreciate any comments. It's not likely that I'll be using the FCA long term but I don't have the cash at the moment to go the FireBox/Pod route so I need to get the FCA working.

Looks like I got it working.

For anyone that's struggling with the same thing, here's how to fix it.

1 - Have horrible had disk failure, lose everything *sigh*
2 - Reinstall Windows
3 - Reinstall FCA202 driver

And that's it, latency of 8ms, seems fine.
