Default How to adjust reaper's tempo to your initial midi idea?

Kenny does this perfectly for Audio, but it does not work for midi?
Why not and is it possible for midi?

I didn't watch the video, but if I understand correctly, you have a project with one or more MIDI items, and you want to adjust the grid, by changing the BPM, to match your existing MIDI item.

If that is the case, I just the other day posed that same question in this old thread https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=80086 scroll to the bottom.

It is possible, but Reaper makes this a bit complicated, probably for good reasons. The steps are outlined in the thread. Se JulianSader's postings at the end.
