Default VST plugins for OS X?

Coming from the PC world I have a gazillion freeware plugins I'm used to work with. VST for OS X can be searched from KVR (http://tinyurl.com/677v6n), but I decided to put up a thread where the best will be introduced by ReaperMac users.

I specifically need freeware or affordable Mac versions for the following free Windows-plugins:

SFZ - A simple Soundfont player
IQ4 - 4-band dynamic EQ / multiband comp
Gsnap - Autotuner (ReaTune is not configurable enough)
Tls Maximizer - The most incredible brickwall limiter

And in return, here's my humble list so far:

Camel Crusher - OD/Dist-LPF-Comp

I will extend the list as soon as I find more.

Hoping that a ReaFont will be introduced... (Hint!)

Here is a link to a very large sticky post (on Bigbluelounge.com) on freeware plugins in UB format for Mac audio programs.

http://www.bigbluelounge.com/forums/...ic.php?t=35967

It lists both instruments and effects. The first post is the list, the rest consist of discussion and pointers to newly converted objects.

It covers all forms - AUs, VSTs, RTAS and Pluggo.

Hope this helps.

Gil, thanks! The list is marvellous. Started to try them out, but only a few work with the pre-beta ReapMac.

What plugins are you guys are using in ReapMac with success?

This is a cool package:

Especially the "Image" (M/S panning etc) is just marvellous.

If anybody finds freely available Mac (UB or Intel) plug-ins that don't work right with REAPER, post em here too (with download links preferably).. I'll try to improve compatibility

Justin, aren't you in the zone man!

The Keytosound Dynamic EQ is quirky. It has demo-limitations that create eccessive popups, but also the plugin location can't be moved. It often jumps half-way out of the screen, so controls can't be adjusted.

I also don't get a sound from bs-0 (the only free sf-player I found!). It does load fonts though, might be I'm just light headed right now.

Love the support here

TAL-Bassline loads up fine. No GUI problems. but I can't seem to get any sound (this could just be me though)
