Default How to allocate inputs to separate tracks?

I have just installed Reaper and bought an Audient iD44 usb interface. I connected three mics and I see their outputs are working in the Audient mixer.

My problem is that when I create three tracks in Reaper it shows all three tracks receiving input from only one mic.

I have tried to choose input routing in Reaper but nothing changes.

I am a complete newbie to using a DAW.

Welcome to the Reaper Forums!

In case you haven't already found them, make sure to check out the User Guide (https://www.reaper.fm/userguide.php) and Videos section (https://www.reaper.fm/videos.php) in general.

You can change the Track Input here:

In general, also make sure that the input range (from first to last input) is set correctly under Preferences > Audio > Device.
More info in chapter 1.12 in the User Guide.

Don't worry, we were all newbies once.

Check in [Options] > Preferences > Audio >devices that you have selected the full range of audio Inputs and Outputs. Then you should be able to select any individual Input for each track )right-click the Recarm button for the menu)

You'll find some pics of the Preferences here:

Thanks for your quick response. I have started to view the videos so hopefully I will find where I went wrong.
