There should be some type of drag click variant to enable or disable FX like how you can click drag across tracks on solo or mute to solo or mute multiple tracks beside each other.
This would increase workflow for people that need to render certain effects across multiple tracks but want to leave most of the effects turned off. So instead of shift clicking every plugin you could shift drag and quickly turn off many effects.
