Default Extracting embedded markers from media items

I'm working with BWF which contain embedded markers. I'd like to render my mix and return it to the client with their markers still intact but I'm not finding a way to do this. I enabled "Markers + regions" in the render menu but I suppose this only applies to Reaper's project markers and regions, not embedded makers. Is there any way to extract the embedded markers and include them as markers in the rendered file? I can do this with iZotope RX and it's super handy.

(I guess this ties into a greater issue I'm having... it seems like Reaper isn't able to do much work with embedded markers and regions. It'd be cool to have some options to edit them)
