Default MX-49 To DAW via USB Midi..?

Hello..Another question on this quest to midi hell if I may.....For those that uses the MX-49 to Reaper via USB, when you export a " performance" to Reaper, are the 16 midi channels in the "Performance Mode " imported on separate midi tracks or just a stereo midi track..?..This Yamaha manual is not the best explained I've ever seen...

There is no such thing as a stereo midi track.

When you record the midi into reaper you can choose to record all midi channels onto 1 track. The other option is to set up 16 tracks, set each track to record a different midi channel, and record onto all 16 tracks at once. It depends on what you are doing and why.
