Mixer has stretching issues.
* just wanted to clarify. The mixer stretches ok. It just could be a bit more compact. It still doesn't work well If you have it docked underneath the transport. YOu can only see 1-2 tracks in the timeline at most.
The master fader, when stretched down, gives twice as much realestate to the logo as it does to the meters/fader.
I could probably figure out how to change a few things so that the mixer could compact a bit more - like the default so intelligently does - by shifting around a few elements... But I find the TCP unusable on smaller screens. Buttons with text underneath are fine on large screens, On a laptop though, you really need a different sort of button.
So, imo, to really make this usable for small screens, a lot of things would need to be changed. And at that point, it stops being Imperial - this is probably why The House of White Tie hasn't really focused on this.
I like the look of Imperial, it's great work. BUt I'm at the point where I've just accepted that it's never going to be usable to me, And instead I am just waiting to see what White Tie's next brilliant release is going to be like. (I do hope there is one, no hurry at all though)
