Midi control of toggle mute or toggle track arming

Hey everyone;
I am up and running Mobius as a VST effect in Reaper.
I have 7 tracks of various VSTis, some with effects.
I am controlling Volume and Pan on my VSTis with an FCB1010, and Mobius start (mute), next loop and overdub with the pedal as well.
All is in good working order.
I would like to know if there is a way to either toggle mute track or toggle record arm with my FCB, I have just enough buttons left for each instrument.
I have referred to the manual, ch4, 12, etc, and have not found a workable solution.
My Reaper has not ever listed my FCB1010 as a midi device, nor is it listed as a controller.
I have attempted to use the FCB1010 by choosing another Behrenger product in the control surface panel, but it did not work, and fouled up my midi device workings.
I am running a GR55 as my guitar to midi converter, thru a little PreSonus Audiobox USB 2x2. The GR and the FCB are run into a midi merge before going to the midi in of the Audiobox USB.
The Audiobox (alias GR55 ) is recognized by Reaper in the Midi devices panel.
As I said, everything is working well, but I would like to toggle off a given instrument, with my pedal, when I am playing live, as I overdub sections of my songs, with new layers and different instruments. Of course I have to use a mouse for this action.
Any help would be appreciated.
