Default Q: How to remove Names on keyboard (midi editor)

I use an action "Media: Insert into sample player on a new track"
And my keyboard is in complete mess, how can i get rid of the names?
Action "Clear Note Names" does not help

Rare opportunity to release the "Songs in the key of Kick Spaaace"

I suspect the keyboard correctly shows you attached your sample to every key. You can limit it in rs5000k note start/end bit I think.

I am not sure I understand your question.

I believe you are saying you want your note names (the left side of the MIDI editor)
to display something other than 'Kick spaace - A C5'.
Given:
-- Kick spaace - A is the name of your track.
-- Kick spaace - A C5 is C5 on your track.

There are 'MIDI Note Name' files.
On Windows they are located at \Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\MIDINoteNames.

In this directory there is a default no_name_sample.txt.
If you are not on Windows search your drive for this file.

Make a copy of it and name it what you want (I.e., MyKeyboard.txt).
Open it with a text editor. It is a simple text file.
'#' are comments.
Type in the lines you want to have your 'keys' in the MIDI editor named:
..
61 C4 Sharp
60 Middle C # This is C4
..
..

Save the file.

Open the MIDI editor and:
File -> Note/CC Names->Load note / CC names from file.
Select your file (MyKeyboard.txt)

Is this what you are asking?

Basically, i don't want to REname it, i want to make those keys look clean
Thank you!

I mean, Kick is just as an example, but if i have something like 808,
i want to play it around and all those names on each KEY is a mess

Huh, beats me. Can't find the option either. Only solution I can think of is preparing and loading a note name file with blank names, loading it should overwrite what rs5000 does.

Confused here:
-- I do not have that Action that you mentioned in the first post,
-- and I have never seen the track name added as note names.

Can you list the steps needed to recreate the problem?

it's a media explorer action or right click on a file in media explorer brings it up

Kickspaace is coming from your VST (your drum thing).

See this link for a complete description of how to manage your 'named notes':

Are you using Sitala?

In that case, remove the name from the loaded sample inside of Sitala. It should be the same with other samplers. Might make it hard to know what sample is loaded if you have no name for it though.

Edit: I tried using the same script as you (Insert into sample player on a new track) but my keyboard roll stays completely clear. Weird.

Edit again: Do you have some type of drum map that you've loaded in the past? It's the only thing I can think of that would create this problem. Like I wrote earlier, Sitala does exactly this thing with forcing the sample names onto the keyboard roll, but if you remove the name of the sample inside of Sitala, or rename the key manually, it goes away. RS5K doesn't do this for me though, the keys stay clear whatever I do.
