Utility to modify faces like Zoom?
I'm interested in playing with some faces in music videos and am looking for an easy and hopefully free or inexpensive utility that I can use to edit a video file and have it do various facial changes similar to what you can do in a Zoom meeting.
I have a friend who I want to gag by putting a black hat and sunglasses on him in a video. It doesn't have to look "REAL" - just funny. Does anyone have any recommendations? |

With a lot of work you could use a combination of partially transparent png/gif/video file to superimpose on the person with "image overlay" and then add various fx filters.
Another easier way IMHO is to feed your base video into a virtual camera for zoom/messenger or other funny apps and capture/record the result. You can do all of that in tools like OBS studio, NDI. Mix/edit the video capture and music in Reaper. Having programmed a few video presets from scratch, I have a good idea how this could be done but it's a lot of work. |
