Default MIDI clips not snapping to grid when truncating them

I have had this problem for ages but I though it was me.

I have snap to bar enabled.

Dragging the end of a midi clip to the bar looks fine till I zoom in, and it's not fine at all. It's snapped to almost the bar but not quite.

The problem really shows up when I start arranging clips and down the line I notice there is some clips that are now way out.

What on earth is the clip snapping to??? Because it is snapping, but it seems random.

Some clips snap at different distances from the point here are supposed to snap. ( 1 bar in this case )

Is this a "feature' or a problem?

I record the midi clips then adjust the length of the clip to get rid of the head and tail. IT should, in theory be, as tight as an angry clam... but no. It's not.

What say thee of the forum? Yey or nay?

Oh in the pic you can see one clip is sticking out quite a way this is actually snapped to something and I can pull it to the bar, pull back to this point etc. What is it snapping to ??? and the other two bars are the same but different snap point.

5yn.
