Hi devs! I hope not to post something inappropriate here, but since I see you have been dealing with visual fixes in the notation editor during these latest pre´s, I dare to suggest another visual improvement. This time is related to slurs. I share two images from a percussive passage; one from Reaper and the other in its Sibelius version :

You can easily tell from the Reaper version, when you look at the lower slur, that the visual presentation of it is very confusing, since the slur belongs to the upper D note but it shows as if it was tied to the lower one, making no sense at all. I have to say that I face these kind of confussions on a daily basis when writing. Given the latest impetus in fixing visual-related things in the notation editor, I suggest tying slurs to the noteheads instead of beams, as used elsewhere...

In the Sibelius screenshot, how is that slur distinguished from a tie? Just by being curved toward the note stem, rather than away from?

Dorico: tie, slur

This is when voices are set. When the voice in Reaper is default, tie/slur should go as it goes now, generally the opposite direction from the stem.

Currently, ties/slurs are anchored either to the bottom/top of the notehead or to the end of the stem.

The request is that ties of notes with voice set, instead of being anchored to the end of the stem, should be anchored to the notehead. This needs to be offset to side when stem would go into the way.

Slurs could get similar fix, since they start/end too far above notes.
