Default Q: MIDI Editor: note borders

What determines the colour of the MIDI note borders? Have a look at this:

I am using the "Track" colour choice, the tracks are orange and cyan.

When I select the orange track's item in the Track List the borders of selected and unselected notes are black. But when I select the cyan track's item, unselected notes have an orange border and selected notes a very light orange border.

What do I need to fix?

If I'm understanding this right, aren't those borders defined in the midi_note_colormap.png?

The only difference that I see when using, say, track color for the notes is that it replaces the 128 possible gradients defined for the velocities in that image...but the borders should be the same?

I would have thought so too, but, as far as I can see I do not have those edge colours in the colour map.
