Default Multiple Midi Note Selection

I have a audio track I did note detection on for a kick drum. That all went fine, but I need a way to automagically select ever nth note (like every 2nd note or 3rd note) so I can move them to another note lane.
I did some searching and found - spk77_Select every N-th item within time selection.eel in Reapack manager, but I can't figure out how to use it.
I thought I could figure it out by reading the code of the script....no go.

So I'm looking for a method for doing a simple selection of non-consecutive notes so I can move them to a different note. Thanks.

go get Lokasenna MIDI Note Selector.lua

or even better... js_Select and deselect MIDI notes by sep pattern.lua

look for it in reapack


you have to make a selection of notes first for either of these to operate on

then be sure to make the ME the focused window once your pattern is selected so you can do whatever to the notes
in other words, the lua's will take the focus you gotta clk the ME to work further with the notes
