Default Help !!!

I was trying to set up my Nektar LX49+ and somehow I downloaded the Demo version of Reaper... I tried to locate the key from online tutorials but I wa unable to locate the file that contains the key. I have a few projects that are time sensitive. My dumb a@% fault. I've emailed cockos but i'm very impatient. If someone could direct me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

Exactly.

What did you run into that you think you need?

I got Reaper running again Thanks guys. I guess what happened was that I removed something that was critical to Reaper when I was trying to sort out my plugins, wow they were a mess. I contacted Cockos and the sent me my key. I've never experienced such great tech-support from any other DAW's.

I do have a question: when I placed the new key in Reaper, all of my Vst's were gone basically a fresh install. I'm having trouble with my fader and master volume clipping. I had a template after numerous tutorials that I put together and never ventured outside of my main template. If I remember correctly, I set the meters to -18db in the preferences. Can anyone explain how I can set these meters so that when I start a new project it will be at -18db?

Oh and I should say that as soon as the meter hits 0.0db it clips. I'm stumped!

Have you told Reaper where to look for your plugins in the preferences?
Options → Preferences → Plugins → VST
If the plugins had an installer, they may be in other directories (folders), like .\Steinberg .\VSTPlugins .\VstPlugins and so on.
