Default Got the midi sorted :)

(triggering sound from a midi file, that is)

I missed this in the thread:

".....the master parent send of the midi channel is disabled".

I learned a lot of other stuff whilst trying to solve this, so it's all good. You have an excellent forum here. The knowledge base is phenomenal!

I still haven't been able to trigger any sound from the virtual midi keyboard when velocities in Shortcircuit are set below 100.

Default Round robin solution ??

If you have freely available samples that have round robin samples for the highest velocities, for instance on the snare, would it be realistic to have those round robins samples on the highest few velocities for some variety where you might need it the most??
I haven't yet tried, but it occurred to me today while I was driving to work.
Just a thought , any of you have thoughts on this?

Almost all the sample sets ( free or paid ) that have RR have it for all their velocity layers. So if a set has 8 velo layers and 4 RR per layer it would have this for all eight layers.

And yes, its very nice in use giving you a more human feel.
