Envelope points default to Bezier curve

Hello everyone,

I've been having a new issue these past days, I think after the last update, and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it is actually a bug. I always have my envelope default shape set to "Slow start/end", but for some most times I create new envelope points now I'm not getting that but Bezier. The options in the general preferences and preferences of the envelope still say that the default is Slow Start/End, but then Reaper does Beziers! Anybody has an idea of what might be the problem?

PS: I checked the action list to check I wasn't hitting any keyswitch for bezier curves by accident, and I'm not.

Thank you very much! I understand now, but can there PLEASE be a way to change this to the previous behavior? I really hate this, because while it may be useful for instances like the admin showed, the way I write automation is by adding points to the right and then modifying their values (kind of like what bFooz showed in that thread), so now every time I do that I need to go back and set the point shape as the one I wanted, making the "default shape" option useless.

Please Reaper people, PLEASE make it so that we at least can disable this. Thank you very much.
