Default Text beside MIDI notes is tied to MIDI ruler text on v6

So after updating to v6 and some digging around, I found out a change that doesn't work well with my current (Pro Tools) theme.
On v5, the text (name/velocity) beside the midi notes (meaning diamond/drum mode), was tied to the parameter "MIDI Editor Note/CC Text Color (Dark)", which made sense.
But on v6, the same text I'm reffering to is actually tied to the "MIDI Editor Ruler Text" parameter, which I guess works for the default theme, but doesn't work well with mine, since the background for the MIDI editor is light, while the background for the MIDI editor ruler is dark.
So if I'm restricted to have the same color for both of the texts, I have to compromise on the visibility of one of them.

Is this fixable?

Screenshot:
(You can see, when the note text is visible, the ruler text isn't so much, becuase of the opposite colored backgrounds.

You could change the colour of the ruler, to make it lighter, and leave the text dark.

Yeah I guess that’s an option, though I like the ruler being dark and separated from the editing grid.

It seems that if you want to use V6 then you have to work with things as they are now, or return to V5.

I've just had a mess.

MIDI editor ruler background = 100,100,100
MIDI editor ruler text = 0,0,0
MIDI editor background color (naturals) = 150,150,150
MIDI editor background color (sharps/flats) = 130,130,130

and it doesn't look too far off what you have now. A reasonable amount of contrast between the MIDI editor note area and the ruler and the black text is readable in both.

I think it is a matter of compromise here...

We should be able to improve this.
