Default Drop Markers With Midi Bluetooth Foot Switch?

I see things like the AirTurn BT200S midi foot switch and wonder if anyone has used something like it to drop markers during a live recording. I will be taking notes for a producer and it would be slick to step an a button and drop a marker. Nothing more really needs to be done since it is just to find a spot in the score for a playback.

Thanks for any ideas.

Doug

You could create a script to do it in Reaper.
A quick way:
For Win you can try MIDI Hotkey Portable http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABL...Portable.shtml

For Mac you can try midiStroke http://charlie-roberts.com/midiStroke/

You can link MIDI signal to reaper actions directly, via action list, so there is no need to convert Midi to keystroke.

Hi X-Raym-

Is there any place in the Reaper literature that would help me figure out how to make this work?

Any youtube video about reaper action list or reaper custom shortcuts should cover this.

It is really as simple as mapping any keyboard shortcut in action list but you press your midi controller instead of a keystroke.
