Default Anyone using Dimension Pro in Reaper?

Hi - I have been using Reaper for the last 1.5 years or so, but still have a registered version of Sonar 6. I was thinking of getting Sonar 8 Producer just for the included VST(i)'s. I'm especially interested in Dimension Pro. Since the upgrade price from Sonar 6 to Sonar 8 Producer in the UK is something like £130, it seems fairly attractive (cheaper than buying Dimension Pro standalone! Plus you get a bunch of other plugins thrown in).

However, before I would go ahead, I'd like to confirm that I will be able to use Dimension Pro within Reaper without crashes (also interested in the compatibility of any of the other plugins).

cheers, 3dmus

bumperdebump (sorry!)

Related to the above - does anyone know of any other sub £200 bread and butter sounds type rompler/sampler/synth (which would compare favourably to Dimension Pro)? As said - main reason for upgrade to Sonar 8 would be to use Dimension Pro and other Vst(i)'s in Reaper...but if there are good alternatives I may not upgrade.

I already have got Bandstand but find it too limited (only stereo-out, limited effects within the plugin, and not blown away by the sounds).

I use Dimension Pro (and Rapture) in REAPER all the time. Works fine.

DimPro works great in Reaper, however do know that it is also only stereo out. You can do four layers, but they all go the same outs, so you can't treat them individually outside of the instrument.

Thanks chaps! I actually didn't realise it was just stereo-out. Bit of a shame really. I suppose I could get around it by loading multiple instances of it.

cheers, 3dmus
