Do us all a favour and stop quoting this knobhead.
He is on my ignore list and I STILL wind up seeing his blather.
He actually comes across as a fairly sensible individual, apart from the attention-seeking nastiness he persists in posting.
Doubtless he does the same on other fora.

We can`t stop him posting his puerile drivel, but we don`t have to pander to him by responding or (especially) QUOTING him and thereby perpetuating them.

Just ignore him like I am trying to do. And above all DONT QUOTE HIM!

Intentionally misattributing words is just another form of trolling. It'd be nice if we were all above that, and leave the trolling to the actual trolls who can be safely and effectively ignored.

Just downloaded the beta version of the new Imperial theme and I LOVE it ...

Mixer view is absolutely stunning!!

However, I am not so fond about the track view, it's too dark for me.

Can I adjust the color scheme, or maybe combine it with another theme? For example, I really like the Pro Tools 2.0.5 theme by Alberto, see screen picture. Very clean, and easy on my eyes.

Thanks!!

Here's a thought:

If you don't like the WIP theme being previewed, how about you keep your non-constructive/nasty comments to yourself?

There's lots of themes I don't like, but I appreciate every person who has posted their work here for others to use, most for free. It takes a lot to do one of these and if it's not your cup of tea, how about you just be an adult and move on to another thread instead of slagging off the person who generously shared it with the REAPER community.

Besides, I think WT does exceptional work and have used his themes (not to mention his exceptional work on the default themes) in my studio for a number of years. If anyone does not deserve this sort of negativity, it's WT.

"Off with ye!"

Without quoting the "evil" this post makes no sense. And Noise is part of this community, a human with feelings too, I hope. I read his posts and sometimes file them under unconstructive noise and move on.
Peace from Hamburg

I'm not trying to single anyone out. And if someone have constructive criticisms, fine. I'm sure those comments are somewhat useful. Seeing the way some of these threads go, I often wonder why anyone would post their work here.

Just want to remind you guys that the purpose of this person's criticism is to make this thread about him. Instead of the theme.

Let's move on.

I will certainly post feedback about how this theme performs in my workflows as soon as White Tie asks for such feedback.

Last Imperial was a mental nightmare to wait for, hehe
Why the heck there is no Malmö layout is my complain... ..
Well done!

Absolutely brilliant upgrades to an already stellar theme. Cannot wait until the finished product. Gladly ready to shell out some cash in support. Nice work, White Tie!

WT, Dude, this is beyond bitchin. I must say though, I definitely wish I had not seen it - a major tease indeed. Going to have to put this unreal theme out of my mind and check back in 6 months. Bravo, fuck yes!

Strange how many mentioned that the original Imperial required a "big monitor" because the GUI required more real eastate. I have to say that with my 4k monitor, the new Imperial looks... too small. Many GUI elements are unreadable.
With upscaling, all that glory becomes blurry. :-(

The original theme said that it was designed for at least 1080p, but it didn't specifically mention an upper limit or intended resolution, if memory serves. 4K almost always has GUI scaling issues, though. I'm guessing that the author uses a 1440p monitor.

Big props but I'm confused by the solid yellow blocks that appear on item edges during editing. Can't find any such color in the tweaker so I assume it subverts it with secret messages. Also big Orange during selecting but not with logic I can follow. What are these things? And how can I make them go away? : )

@WhiteT

Curious, I've double checked your screenshots of the Stockholm Mixer on the first page and I noticed that in your Stockholm Mixer I can see INSERTS. But on my side, when I choose Stockhlm or the Stockhlm B version, my Mixer does NOT have INSERTS points. Is this normal??

How to fix this??

Thanks

From http://www.houseofwhitetie.com/reape..._imperial.html :

As you said, no mention of an upper vertical limit.
It does want two screens though.

So this new theme will be fantastic, because I have but one monitor.
