Default Convert project from 48 to 441

Is it possible to convert a project from 48 to 441 without any issues? it's really important that reduce the amount of punishment to CPUs taking (w/o bouncing down to wav files) so I can mix and then render to 48/24bit

I'm not doing any audio recording, this is would be strictly vsts. Anyone have any experience with this?

The reduction in CPU use would be neglible.

But if you're determined to try anyway, simply change the sample rate of the project and your interface (so you can listen to the mix). Reapers sample rate conversion is pretty transparent.

Good luck!

You can convert the files in -> "Batch File / Item Converter", and set the project sample rate by Preference -> Audio -> Device.

What problems do you expect to occur ?

I'll be able to try this later today once i get back home. I did try this I Reason and that CPU load dropped more than 50%. I'll let you know what happens

Am I missing something Midi on it's own has no 48kHz and neither does 44.1.
The produced noise does dependent on what your interface and OS is running when you play or make a recording (usually a wave file) and only then.

Or is my age agin me...

You might be right. I'm merely using Vst/aus here and its a mdi mockup.
