Default unwanted sustain in some of my midi notes

Best musicians ,

I'm making a piano song with MIDI in REAPER, but there is a very strange problem with a couple of notes. The're echo (sustain) is longer than the length of the note. even if i shrink/redraw/change velocity etc I've tryed everything... The piano I use is the grandeur (kontakt 5 native instruments) but even if I change the piano the unwanted sustain stays . It is only with just 8-9 notes in my midi recording, the other notes respond like they have to.
Is there something I can do about it?

thnx !

Check for any "CC64" in the midi items.

Other than that, look at your notes, are any of them longer than they should be?

Also check your "note off" to make sure they are located in the right places.

Open the midi item in question, into the Midi Editor. There you can check the note length as well as for any "CC64 (sustain)" along with the "Note Off".

You can select the "CC64" and "Note off" in the CC lanes at the bottom of the Midi Editor. To select the various CCs, click on the dropdown menu located at the bottom to the far left.

You can also use the event list, but I think it's easier to see in the CC lanes.

Alright thanks! I found number 64 (sustain/pedal) and this is not the problem, there was no pedalling found at the places so it must be the "note off" like you said but I can't find the term "note off" in the drop down menu, am I overseeing something?

thanks!

If you use the event list editor it will be easier, if you arent already.

Hum, I thought the note off was one of the new things but you're right, it's not in the CC lanes, nor is it in the event list.

Actually I think it may be the "Off Velocity", which I think is basically Velocity=zero(0). They are in the CC lanes but I don't see them in the event list.
