Default v6.00 Track Wiring

Can we have:
-- a Preference to open the view with all tracks collapsed
-- functions to Expand All / Collapse All
-- mousewheel scrolling up/down or left-right
-- modifier+mousewheel scrolling left-right or up/down

That will make viewing and navigation much easier.

Also, is there a good reason for outputs to be on the left and inputs on the right. Seems to make the wires much longer.

yes, zoom would be good using same settings as elsewhere (scrollwheel for me).
I quite like the linear connectors but not the dangly cables - they get in the way of seeing what is in the boxes so it would be good if they could be either linear and a different colour (my preference) or at least "pinned" out of the way of the boxes.
Apologies if I have missed these features and they are there already

My vote: MMB drag to pan up/down/left/right, and modifier (or not) + MMB scroll to zoom in/out.

And, agreed. I'm assuming/hoping there are navigation improvements planned.

As well as customizable MWHEEL+modifier navigation, I'd like a MOUSE3+modifier pan in the Track Wiring pane (same idea as in the arrange pane).

I think we should be doing some design ideas for this.
One of the REAL benefits to a nodal view that is easily forgotten is MIDI Routing between Instruments and FX.

Actually, here a breakdown of features that would make it worth while:

- Audio and Midi Channel Routing.
- Zoom and Pan controls (configurable with mouse(wheel) modifiers)
- Group/Container Nodes (like in Blender), these could also be actual JSFX container FX (like a native version of Bidule or ImageLine's MiniHost), FX that are in a Group or Container JSFX instance can also make need of an extra column in the Project Bay for such occasions, maybe something like a Parent FX item or something.
- Faceplate/Macro assignments (hopefully a native start of something like LBX Stripper)
- And maybe there should also be optional colors for Audio and Midi paths as well.

Anyways....
How about we start designing some layouts for this.
I believe it is worth the time, b/c a Nodal view is something we should all embrace, b/c it is the most intuitive way to route things inter and intra-track.
