Passing filename to editor in action window

Using an external editor (Sublime Text), I find if there are spaces in the filename it tries to open a file for each word. Is there a way Reaper can wrap it in double quotes or something to pass it the parameter for the filename ?

example: Script: edgemeal_Toggle envelope lanes for selected track.lua

Could you explain a bit further? How do you try to open the filename in the action-window that causes that behavior?
I never experienced anything like that.

Then this is definately a case for the bug-report-forum, as I'm pretty sure, this isn't intended as correct behavior.

Didn't know we can assign an external editor for scripts, nice - if it worked... Just tried and I get the same behaviour here as in the gif with VS Code assigned as external editor.
