Default Make Scrollbars Less Useless Again!

When dragging scrollbars in the perpendicular direction, it would be handy if they would zoom the arrange view.

So dragging the horizontal slider up & down would zoom vertically and dragging the vertical slider left & right would zoom horizontally.

There are many better ways to navigate the arrange than scroll bars, so this would be a way for them to become useful again.

Default Horizontal scroll not awesome

Main menu from top - View
Does not fit on the screen (larger than the screen).
Therefore, to see the bottom of the "view" menu, you need to click on the scroll triangle many times. The same thing - to return to the top of the menu.
The mouse scroll wheel does not work by default.

Soon the year 2019 will come, is it so hard to fix it?

I think that's actually up to Win32 API and how it handles those large menus...

You not right with user usability side.

Ok i'll screenshot for developers, can you let them know?

This, how looks and works normal (but not the best) scrollbars:

You can move your mouse wheel, and scroll will move with it.

And thats, how looks very bad, old fashion alpha version scrollbars (or rather, something that distantly reminds scrollbars):

You even can't use scroll wheel, and there is no scroll bar at all!

There are other ways, you just need to turn on the fantasy. Optimization of menu items; drop-down lists; mouse scrolling at the edge; menu in 2 passes (wider)?

So, please let know to developers.
Thx and sorry. I know, they already know. But may be someday... Not 6 version, but may be in 7 ver?

I've heard this stated before, but I think Reaper is the only program I've ever seen lists that scroll like that. Surely the devs are clever enough to work up something more tenable.

That isn't at all what this request is about, but it is scrollbar-related and also very annoying. I have completely customized my menus though, so I never run into it, personally.

Please make this an option. I absolutely hate zooming scrollbars.
It makes using the scrollbar in it's intended function (scrolling!) hard to use.

Thanks

Well with close to no interest in this feature, I doubt you'll have to worry about it...

Honestly I don't even need it, just thought it was a clever thing to do.

I'd prefer to not see scrollbars at all, since there are at least a dozen better ways to get around a project and all they do is take up space.
