Default REAPER .931 & .932 - no comments yet?

Two versions released and still no comments?
Look at all the goodies Justin added for us:

REAPER v0.931 - March 24 2006

* tabs in dock, dockable mixer/media explorer/undo history
* right click apply fx to item (applies fades, volume, pre-fx envelopes, FX, adds as take)
* all-note-off sent at end of MIDI files
* aux send controls show as multiple columns if need be
* scrollbars for VSTs when sized down
* dragging in a loop selection start a new selection, old behavior is optional in prefs/edit
* ctrl click mute/solo clears all mute/solo
* more color themes
* color themes can now be dropped into the main reaper window
* updated mar 25 2am -- fixed some apply fx bugs, other bugs, changed the way fx are stopped, for better autotune support (option in prefs/playback to flush fx on loop too)

REAPER v0.932 - March 26 2006

* now smart about not scrolling when editing items/etc
* option in prefs to not move edit cursor when shift/ctrl selecting items
* when adding a partial take via recording, if no other take loops, looping is turned off for item
* made non-looping items only show one loop indicator
* highlighting of grouped items (new colortheme item -- updated bundled colorthemes but all you colortheme designers may wish to post your own new versions
* added new jesusonic effect chanmix2

.932's only been out for abut 6 minutes.

EDIT: You're right though, there's some great stuff in the last few releases.

and I was about to comment on the group colour (color??) boarders.
what colour should it be? don't have any projects that use groups and so don't really know how they are used. would a high vis red be what people are looking for?

Probably as good as anything, Dave.

I don't have anything grouped either.

blasphemy!!!!

THOU SHALT: group non contiguous items across non-contiguos tracks just to piss the PT guys off

THOU SHALT: use this exact phrase when you do: "neener neener neener, my 20 dollar app can do what your 20k app cant...so sorry" and "but hey man, how bout hooking me up with your sister?"

Just one question:
Is REAPER Vista-compatible?
Will 0.999 (or whatever) be Vista compatible,or the catch is - no free version of REAPER for Vista?

Not to mention http://www.cockos.com/forum/showthread.php?t=567 when it comes to previous comments. And http://www.cockos.com/forum/showthread.php?t=566 come to think of it.

Can PT really not do that? I though that was a pretty basic function in any editing program.

As for the latest release, I've just got in from an essential meeting and haven't yet downloaded it.

I do have some comments related to how the loop selection thingy works but I think a separate thread is required.

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN.

I think it was previous to 0.931, but honestly one of my favorite additions lately is the item grouping buddy icon. It makes me smile every time.

Comments and some weird suff
----------------------------

Comments about the last 3 releases:

0.933
---------
+ fixed grid showing first beat in measure being wrong - Finally fixed! That was some very annoying bug that made a chore working with REAPER and grid lines.
+ media explorer menu item updates when docked - Fixed the context menu bug when explorer window docked
+ fixed fx flushing when rendering - Yay! This was a bad bugger too.

0.932
---------
+ option in prefs to not move edit cursor when shift/ctrl selecting items - Good stuff
+ made non-looping items only show one loop indicator - good stuff too

0.931
--------
+ all-note-off sent at end of MIDI files - This was requested a lot, using VSTi is more tolerable now.
+ tabs in dock, dockable mixer/media explorer/undo history - One of the big features REAPER will be remembered for
+ scrollbars for VSTs when sized down - Low-res monitor users will be in heaven now Useful for all others too.
+ color themes can be drag&dropped into the main reaper window - I asked for this feature before. Now with the docked Explorer window,it's even better
+ fixed drawing of track resizer - Nice bugfix

Weird stuff:

( ! ) When REAPER is inactive and another app is in focus,if you move the mouse to the REAPER window, everything still works like the tooltips pop up,the resize arrows appear when you move the mouse cursor to the edges of audio items,etc... - even when all items are offline, audio device is stopped and window is "out of focus".Is this normal?

( ! ! ) Is there a point of loading VSTi (not VST FX) in the master track???

it would appear to be normal, or at least Mozilla Thunderbird and Live Messenger 8 both do it too
