Default Mehringer Eurotrack UB802 mixer - should I...

Hi folks,

My mate who used to be a bit in to home recording, 2 years ago left with me his Mehringer Eurotrack UB802 mixer. And now I'm doing a cleanout, and found it in my closet, and thinking of selling it or just give it to someone, but before my final decision I would like to ask you guys, does any of you have experience with those and could you tell me if it's not that bad after all and maybe I would actually benefit from using it? I doubt it personally but won't hurt asking.

A little mixer like that is handy to have around.

I track myself, and I usually setup my mixer near me, and I route my monitor mixes to it. (Backing tracks, direct monitoring of what I am recording, and any effects that I may be monitoring with)

I can grab and adjust what I am hearing in the phones easily, without stepping over to the computer.

It's not in the signal chain - just in the monitor chain.

I'm in the UK if you wish to give it to somebody (Is that a good enough recommendation ? )

@James HE I have audio interface already, which is for monitoring too, which is far superior to mehringer. But now when I think about it I was planning on getting some hi-fi speakers and some shitty ones to try mixes. So maybe it will be useful after all.

@gpunk_w I'm asking close family and friends first. But now as I said above, maybe It will be some use for me in the end.

To be a little more specific, while tracking, I will create hardware outs from tracks and monitor through the mixer, so I can configure my headphone mix on the fly. Individual channels for, Drums, Bass, Guitars, etc.

Just a way to easily get the perfect mix in the phones to help me get a good performance down. I want to have the mouse in my hand as little as possible while tracking.

Default Mehringer Eurotrack does not Compute

"Mehringer Eurotrack" does not Compute

"Behringer Eurorack" or "Behringer Eurodesk" does Compute
