Can't remove deleted VST from my tracks.

When I open up my project, I get this error:

The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired.

Track 13: VSTi: STS-11 (x86) (Günter Hager)

It then lists about 100 tracks and a VST that I deleted a while ago.

When I hit the FX button, the track does not show up.

Does anyone know how to remove this VST from my tracks?

Unfortunately this happens in my project I use for my template which would take a lot of work to re-create.

Hi,

Load your project template with its missing FXs. Now go to View, Project Bay and the missing FX(s) will still have an entry. Right-click that entry and choose remove from project.

You can now save that project as a project template (overwriting your original template, if you so wish)
