Default Digi 003 problems

Hi

New to reaper and this forum. Hope this is the best place for this question.

I have a digi 003 console that I'd like to use to control reaper. I set it up so I can change selected track and move the fader on this track.

I'd like to set it up like this.

When I select a track the first fader on the 003 move the selected track. Fader two moves the the track right of the selected track and so on.

The faders move the selected and the 7 tracks right of the selected track.

I am not doing this only for faders.

I need an action that can do several things with the track left of the selected track.

Thanks

Hi,

I have a digi003 too, but I only use it as a soundcard now. It was made to work seamlessly with Protools and is perfect for just that, although I seldom used it with the faders at all there either. Its just much more convenient to mix on screen with mouse and written automation.

If you want to use it with Reaper, I know there are some midi-setups that lets you use everything but the multi-purpose knobs just beneath the screen, but you have to search the forum yourself for that.

On the good side though, it is still is a great sounding interface, with good preamps, a lot of inputs and routing capabilities together with three monitor and two headphone outputs, makes this a keeper as long as I room on my desk for it

Default Reaper CSI

Hi, I just discovered this plugin on REAPERBLOG, that lets you customize whatever control surface you use. Seems cool and worth checking out,
