I just scored an XTouch at a pawn shop (it's just the XTouch, not the Compact, not the One). Using Klinke's software I've got pretty much all the functions working that I need except for the function buttons (F1, F2, F3...). I've searched the forum and read the Klinke manual. I guess I'm still missing a critical piece of information. Any help would sure be appreciated. How did you get the function keys to work? THANKS.
Just to be clear...per another thread on this forum (a response from the Klinke developer) CONTROL-F1 does set a marker at cursor position, so it's not that the function keys do "nothing." What I should have posted is that I want to assign them to actions myself. When I'm in the Actions dialog, and click "Add" under "Shortcuts for select action," then press F1, nothing happens in the "Keyboard/MIDI/OSC Input" dialog. Can the function keys not be used in that manner? Sorry I wasn't clear in my first post.
