Default My modified themes collection

Link is here https://www.dropbox.com/s/pkgqapdxpj...0Pack.rar?dl=0

The collection amounts to total of around 20mb of themes so I couldn't upload it to the stash.

These are basically edits of other people's great themes which I've edited to my preferences and to fix certain issues with some of them. You may find that some will have new extra layouts added while others will simply have changes to colors & contrast.
Full details of the changes are in the included text file.

You can try these edited versions out and compare them to the originals.

If you don't like what I've done with them, you can further edit them yourself. Enjoy

(I might post some screenshots once i figure out how)

Thanks, DarkStar.

Anyway, these are just a few examples in the screenshots. These are edited versions of the Apollo theme, the Tracks theme and the ReaLax theme. For the Realax theme, I changed the toolbar which was a bit glitchy on the original version in order to fix it.

Thanks! I'm loving "AlterEgo 5 Cubase v3".
Is there any chance you could help me understand how to further decrease the minimum size for tracks? I tried messing with rtconfig without success, but I don't really have any experience with walter.

Instead of making a new thread, I'm bumping this one to let you all know I've released a new folder of themes.
These are mostly some of the themes from the previous collection but have been improved with some much needed bug fixes and other visual elements. And there are also two new themes which aren't from the previous upload. Again, these are modified versions of other people's nice themes.

Smaller collection than last time but still too large for the Stash.

Here's the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/o3lzanvmnh...vol.2.rar?dl=0

If there are any issues with the download, let me know (because I had issues uploading it to Dropbox)

Enjoy.

Default Themes Collection vol 3

Hey all. I've uploaded a new collection.

Link is here -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/rqbgo54ryb...vol.3.rar?dl=0

For this one, I have went back on all the themes I've worked on before and re-worked them with bug fixes, new layouts and various improvements to the point where they are about as close to perfect as I could possibly get them. Hope you all like them.

And for some of the themes in this collection, I've used the custom splash screens from the thread in the following link -> https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=140714

If you have downloaded any of the themes from my previous uploads, I would suggest that you replace them with the updated versions in this new upload.

And if there any issues with the download, let me know.

Enjoy

I have just updated one of the themes (Default 5 Hybrid edition) with the following changes

The track colors have been made more saturated
The monitor button in the session mixer layout has been changed

I have uploaded it to the Stash. Check it out here -> https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/2286/D...ReaperThemeZip

Default Janne Themes Pack

With the recently uploaded themes by Janne83, I have made edited versions of the Janne themes and named this small collection the "Janne Pack".

The Link is here -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/gqo6uar0v0...0Pack.rar?dl=0

The pack just about exceeded the the Stashes 2mb limit so I had to upload it to dropbox instead. In this collection are edited versions of the following...

Janne V
Janne V - Tinted version
Janne Albinos
Janne Tronic

For Janne V, I've made some new layouts and made the track selection more visible among other visual changes. Same goes for the Tinted version which has tinted track & mixer panels.

For Janne Albinos & Tronic, which are from my previous upload but this time, they've been updated with some visual improvements.

Let me know if there any issues with the download etc.

Enjoy.

Default Janne Themes Pack - version 2

I have just uploaded an newly updated version of the Janne Pack. The old version (version 1) has been deleted and replaced with the newer version.

Here's the link to the new version -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/9dcoowf6ki...ver.2.rar?dl=0

For both Janne V (tinted & untinted), I've made visual improvements to the transport.
For Albinos & Tronic, I've added new transport layouts and made some improvements to the "Strip" track panel layouts.

And once again, let me know if there are any issues with the download. (Dropbox is pain in the rear end at times)

Default Themes Collection volume 4

Hey folks, I've just uploaded a new release.

Link is Here -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/9qpoibpbq3...vol.4.rar?dl=0

For this one, I have made an edit of the Tronic theme in which I've named "Tronic Extended". I haven't done anything drastic with the aesthetics. Instead, I have added some new extra layouts, including round pan knob versions of every mixer layout as well as the default ones with the straight pan faders.

Also in this collection are updated versions of the following themes...

Alter Ego Grey X mod
Alter Ego 5 Cubase
Grayground Extended
Janne Albinos
Janne Tronic
ReaLax Extended
Tracks Extended
VGS Dark Extended

Plenty of fixes and improvements. Full details of the changes are in the included text file.

If there are any issues with the download, please let me know.

Enjoy

Default can't extract the archive?

The vol 4 file seems to download very quickly but doesn't show any errors and shows a size of 5,365 kb. However, when I try to extract it, I get an error message that "The archive is either in unknown format or changed". I've tried it multiple times.

Any ideas?

That's odd.

Anyway, You don't have to worry about that file anymore because I have uploaded a new collection.

Link is here -> https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sd5tm8wkv...jLmrmeAxa?dl=0

This one has all the themes from the previous upload but this time have been updated & improved since last time. Not only that, I have included all the other themes from previous collections (with some fixes) making this one a sort of ultimate collection.

So if any of you have downloaded any themes from the previous uploads, I would again suggest you replace them with the updated versions in this new upload.

I have uploaded all of it in an uncompressed folder to Dropbox so you don't need WinRAR to extract this one. In fact, you shouldn't need to unzip it at all because it's not zipped. If you can't download the whole folder, try downloading the individual theme files.

If there are still any issues with the download, please let me know.

There's a theme JRENG Metric which is pretty neat.

https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=197202

So far the themes you've updated are all the themes I've used, and I really like your improvements.

If you feel like updating this one, I'm curious at what the result could be.

Having said that, it's your time and energy, so I'm not pushing it.

I have just tried this theme out and here's what it looks like on my Laptop...

https://i.postimg.cc/1tQMdvXt/JRENG-METRIC-Theme.jpg

https://i.postimg.cc/Jztk1ZvQ/JRENG-METRIC-2.jpg

Aparrantly, the theme is designed for a Retina/HiDPI display Monitor which must be why it looks so gigantic on my 13 inch laptop screen.

I don't think i can work with this theme, sorry.

Perhaps you could suggest something more laptop friendly instead.

Default New Themes and Updates 14/July/2019

The interesting thing about uploading a non-compressed folder to Dropbox is that If I want to add any new themes or updates, I don't have to upload a whole new folder. Instead, I can now just add them to the existing folder and that's just what I've done.

The new additions are as follows...

HYDRA
Fusion RJ
WT Brawn HDNoise Flat
and Funktion: Funktional Edition

Mostly minor changes to Hydra, mainly some new layouts and small fixes.
And some significant changes for Funktion and WT Brawn to make them a lot better (in my humble opinion).

Plus, updates for the following existing themes...

Default 5 Hybrid Edition
Grayground Extended
LCS Ringer Blue
Alter Ego Cubase
Fusion De-Mordi-fied
And Konzentration

Full details of the changes can be found in the newly updated text file.

All of which has been uploaded to the Volume 5 folder so no need for a new link. You can just click the link in my previous post and it should be in there.

Let me know of any issues, cheers.

Default New Update 24/07/2019

I have just updated all the Janne themes so now the user can center align the transport controls by right clicking the transport and select the "Center Transport Controls" option.

To download these and more, just head over to the Volume 5 collection in the link from a few posts back (post number #17 in this thread, specifically) and it should be there.

You got no answer because I wasn't logged in and I'm not looking at the site 24/7.

The creator of the iLogic theme (blankfiles) uploaded a free version of iLogic to the stash https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/1964/I...ReaperThemeZip

That's why you see it in my collection. I named it 2.9 because i kept making changes & updates over time and gave it a number with each update up to the point it has reached. Hope that explains things.

Oh excellent!

I've got a few versions here like "I Logic V2 and "I Logic Next Free 1.1",
but your modded version looks very nice indeed!

I just wanted to confirm it wasn't one of the private versions by mistake, thats all

Default New Update 14/September/2019

Hey all, I have a made a mod of the recent Superior3 beta theme.

For this one, I have set the minimum mixer height to a much lower one and I've added a new experimental mixer layout designed specifically for the new minimum height. It's a low sidebar layout for those (like myself) who like to dock the mixer at the bottom half of the screen but don't have a large enough screen for the default mixer layout to fit for that situation.

The original mixer layouts are still there but will only look right at the height they were originally meant for. The new minimum height is only for the new sidebar layout.

And I've added some track layouts that tint only when selected.

Full details can be found in the updated text file.

Also, there are small updates (color tweaks) of the following themes...

Default 5 Hybrid Edition
Janne Albinos (tinted & untinted)

and Funktion: Funktional Edition

All of which can be found in the volume 5 collection in post #17 in this thread.

Enjoy.

Default New Update 22/9/2019

Hey all, I have a new addition to the collection. This time, it's an edit of LCS Luna. There is both a tinted and un-tinted version of the theme so you can choose whichever one suits you.

And I've updated Realax Extended and Tracks Extended with small visual improvements.

All of which can be found in the volume 5 collection linked in post #17 of this thread.

Also, since volume 5 has all of my modded themes, the previous volumes are basically redundant so I have deleted volumes 1-4. So if the early links are not working for you, that should explain why.

Default New Update 5/October/2019

Just popping in to let you all know that I've added the grey version of LCS Luna to the collection with same mods that I've done with the original LCS Luna.

There are both tinted and untinted versions of the theme.

Also, I've made some small color adjustments to Realax Extended in parts.

All of which can be found in the volume 5 collection linked in post #17 in this thread.

Hey Grim,

Just downloaded your mods. Haven't even loaded any up yet, but I noticed I didn't see my favorite theme in the list:

REABORN 2 - Phoenix Mod - v0.9.5

I've been using this theme for a couple of years now, and for me it's clean, crisp, and easy on the eyes.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated in ... a couple of years.

Any chance it's on your list of future projects?

OK, I'm off to see which of your mods is easiest on my tired old eyes.

Thanks for your efforts.

Hey Grim Jim,

Big thanks for a modded INQUASAR Dark matter! Until now, my fav theme!
Is it possible to enable more brighter colors? especially tint (for now I see a grey overlay) and bright neon colored wave forms. Same for Midi Item.
Cant edit in preferences. Menu is greyed out..

Is this possible? woud love to see. *_*

I see the issue of the preference options being greyed out too. That happens with various themes and I can't understand why that is and I don't know how to change it. Perhaps you can ask someone who understands WALTER better than I do.
