Default How to create an EPIC Orchestral Track with FREE or inexpensive stuff?

Did you ever wonder how to create an EPIC Orchestral Track with free or inexpensive stuff? In this tutorial we cover the main compositional aspects of SevenTearsOfHope's latest Track 'Rise When You Fall'. How much sound can you get out of free stuff? How can you achieve the "Wall of Sound" with free or inexpensive Plugins?

Let me hear what you think.

Thank you

Good job. There’s some interesting stuff in there I didn’t know about.

I saw in your about video that you don’t consider yourself a musician. Why not? Do you not play any instruments?

Impressive track, nicely put together!

I thought that you would mainly use Paul Battersby's
"Virtual Playing Orchestra", but no: There are many
different individual instruments. Still, nicely
arranged. Maybe you should present your complete
oeuvre?

Dear Dex,
first of all thank you so much for listening and watching my videos and my channel intro.
You are absolutely true, I don't play any instrument. I just started listening epic music some years ago and I was intrested in how to compose it. So this is why I can't call myself a musician

Dear enroe, also thank you for listening and your kind words. I have never heard of the mentioned virtual orchestra, but I will try it out.
As I started 2 years ago, Sonatina and some Soundfonts where all I found. Now with, Labs, Orchestral Tools, Project Sam, Keep Forest, and some other Libraries, there are lots of top notch free libraries available. Honestly, you can't get the most richest sound, like their expensive full versions, but to get into composing they are all worth working with.

Thanks again for watching and your support,
Stay safe,
SToH

Created some free instruments as well, in case if anyone is looking for some Kontakt libraries:
