I've officially drank the Coolaid
Well, I've been so impressed with Reaper that I decided to buy it. Probably the best $40 I've ever spent. I've been playing around with it for about a week now, and it feels like it was built for me specifically.
I'm currently in the process of re-doing my personal studio. I have some new Alesis M1's on the way. Was going to get the BX5A's, but after reading the reviews and specs, I decided on the M1's due to their tweakability based on acoustic environment...

You're certainly not the only one who feels this way.

I too know this feeling. I'm a bit of a control freak and Reaper has been the only Daw that has given me the degree of control that I crave. In other words, using Reaper makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

"It was as if god himself answered all my prayers"
Would love to see that as a quote on the front page!
Was going to say "it was like god moving over the face of the water" but all I could think of was "wow, god likes to jet-ski?" lol

I hear you. I am just glad that I somehow ran across this software. I've been playing with V4 alpha, and I love some of the new features, and the default template too!

I never prayed to god to have better DAWs. I just took it for granted that most of them were shitty in one way or the other until I more or less "accidentally" came across Reaper some years ago. Prior to that I couldn't even imagine (dumb-headed that I am) that there was something like this. Maybe I've been given a sign. - Holy shit!!!!, what the lell....
