Second time I catch the devs getting the month number wrong...
EDIT: OR.... do they number months like Javascript - zero based?

Does the update to the new Lua-version have any important changes, that could affect scripting with Reaper?
Couldn't find some infos about the changes in their changelog(maybe I looked at the wrong page...)

It’s just bug fixes... it could cause regressions (so do test your scripts), but other than that nothing in particular to look at...
Their changelog is hard to find, it’s http://lua.org/bugs.html i think

Those are attributes of individual automation items. The project bay lists the pools themselves. It's similar to the source media tab in that way -- you can have the same source media in multiple media items, with different start offsets, lengths, etc.

Great, thank you!
But I found another scenario when the script is not working fine. If the boundaries are moved far away from the source item, the script will not work as expected.
It works both ways:

That's a classic example of a degenerate case! I think the best fix is, well, don't do that.

While you're still poking around the MIDI editor, it would be lovely to get the "Quantize ... to grid" actions working again (they adhere to the last "Strength" setting in the Quantize window ATM).

Bug in bezier tension for automation envelopes. Not new with this version, I realised I've been seeing this for some months.
Adding a point not-near a bezier curve shouldn't affect that curve.
I can't be sure if this is just GUI rendering bug or something else.
