Default Reaper Bad Sound quality

Hello, I was a FL Studio user for years and now few days ago I switched to Reaper. But now I noticed that with the same instrumental VST's (guitar, piano, nexus, sylenth1) under the same conditions (empty master, empty mixer(no EQ,no Reverb, etc.) Reaper sounds so bad. FL Studio sounds much fuller especially in the low frequenies and Reaper sounds very thin and very poor in bass, and even the high end sound a bit overboosted (minimal distortion). I wonder If it's the software itself or can I fix that in the settings? I expected DAW's to sound all the same..
Thx!

sounds like a simple thing to test by rendering two files and comparing.

Hello, thx for ur reply. I rendered both in Reaper and in FL studio (same render settings). It doesnt change anything. The Reaper version unfortunately sounds still sh*t..

I don't know what's wrong. The VSTi's should sound the same. The DAW doesn't affect "sound quality" until you start adding effects, or unless something is terribly wrong.

And if something is "terribly wrong" you'll get "glitches". It's pretty hard to "accidently" reduce the bass in software.

I just uploaded both Samples on soundcloud,so u can hear the difference:

Reaper: https://soundcloud.com/mfb-music/reaper-sample-1

FL Studio: https://soundcloud.com/mfb-music/fl-studio-sample

I think you will understand what I mean. As I said same coniditions (Mix, Master, Render etc.)

Interesting was that the Reaper version (wav) is almost half the size ( Reaper 10mb file; FL Studio 17mb wav file)

Pretty sure those MIDI notes are not in the same octave.

Preferences, Media, MIDI
MIDI octave name display offset:[ -1 ] octaves

(I use -1)

Oops, ur right.. my mistake, the first melody was an octave higher. But it doesnt rly change anthing, it still sounds so bad. It's a bit louder on Reaper (not crucial) BUT the sound itself is so different. As I said the Reaper version distorts and has almost no low's.
Here is the, to the FL studio equivalent, new version: https://soundcloud.com/mfb-music/reaper-sample-1
