Default Theme request

What about a skin that would emulate that Sony look?
Al least meters and colours look great

+1 from me. Though I'm not the guy who could do a good job at skinning. I've always like the Oxford plug-in look myself.

Default Reapers own ID...

The Oxford plug-ins are very nice, and the FM8 theme request from Sinkmusic also highlights a beautiful piece of GUI development from Native Instruments. (Always good!)
These are both great inspirations for developing a Reaper skin. I'm planning to start something new this week, so I'll keep these in mind. They both display simplicity and clear functionality, of which I'm a great fan.
Emulation and inspiration are both different things of course, and I believe that Reaper should have its own identity as a piece of software. I think it is important for the software to stand out (amongst its peers) as a definitive development. Apart (of course) from the programs functionality, an original interface with great useability is what also speaks to end-users.
