Midi controller transport controls no longer working

I have an Novation X Station that I use as Midi controller. Have had the transport buttons setup for years to control Reaper's transport. Have a couple other buttons mapped as well.

Suddenly, they are not working. Keys are fine, pitch-mod is fine. Buttons are not. Midi-ox tells me it's receiving midi info from all buttons. Reaper's track midi input lights up, but no action is taken. Action list confirms that there's nothing changed in the Reaper setup. Have gone through the options panel and midi devices page.

Any ideas?

I did it!!!

Midi Devices in options, right click X-station as device (among the confusing array of stuff that's in there now along with multiple X-station entries) and check "Enable input for Control Messages." I probably have even been through that ordeal before and forgot about it.
