Default Reaper not seeing all inputs

I have a Yamaha GM10XU (10 inputs) and when I go to set the first and last input in Reaper I only see 2. I was expecting to see all eight. I have the lastest reaper, and my windows 10 system is up to date. Thoughts?

the spec of your mixer says it works as a stereo USB interface - ie two ins & outs.
The mixer & the interface are amalgamated into one unit, but just because the mixer has 10 inputs it doesn't necessarily mean the interface has as well.

This, common assumption on the multi in/ outs.
