On first aquaintance I like this variation on the 6 theme, with tasteful easy on the eye colour scheme. I could use this too - when (or if) the issues with the colour of writing on the track panel is sorted. Look forward to developments
Contrast in the track panel issues:
Having loaded up some more projects certain colour combinations clash badly -appearing to glow in a tiring manner, whereas the standard 6 theme is fine.
For instance red writing on an aqua blue background
Also light red writing on a dark red background is similarly difficult on the eye.
Multiple colour combos really don't work yet.

looks nice, hwhalen.
Have you thought about aligning the recmode and recarm buttons?

Some of my tracks in the mixer panel are much wider than other tracks, even though they're set the same...just when I load this theme. I love the look of the theme though

to be colored as well as the panel.
That means.(drum roll)..partially colored panels.
YMMV

I took your dislike for coloured panels to be an explanation for only colouring the track name box rather than the whole track.

I notice in your first post some of the fader backgrounds are coloured as per the track names on some tracks only. Is this a specific coloured layout you choose per track or should it be part of the default layout, if you know whet I mean...?

Those colours are directly linked to the automation mode. Green for read, yellow for touch and red for write.
Looks like I am spouting a load of nonsense as usual

Looking at your latest update that has now gone. The splash of colour works well with the scheme, given the colour being repeated in the notes on the piano roll.
The record monitoring loudspeaker driver symbol (in the mixer) looks a little unusual facing upwards, however I have several unusual loudspeaker designs that are arranged in this manner so not so strange for me!
The blue grey colour scheme looks great on my screen.
I can swap between this and the original version happily so far.
Previously I liked to occasionally swap between the RADO and Commala dark variants. I can add this theme to the mix. Cheers.

The fact that I cannot color the track number label only has been the biggest deal-breaker keeping me from switching to a v6 theme. I just tried this mod, and I encounter the exact same problem I found when I was dinking around with the tcp_bg and bgsel images in December:
You can color the area of the number label only, but the color does not move with the label when indenting the tracks as folders. It seems that the color of the actual track pane overlays the number label. So if the number label is to the left of the TCP, I don't know that it's possible to do this.
On my v5 theme, the colors only show on the number label, but the placment is to the right of the track, so there is no indentation issue.
I really wish there was a way to apply track colors specifically to the number label. Or if it is possible, I would like to know how it is done.

Interesting. How do you get the M,S and meters all to the left of the track?

Thanks! I was looking in rtconfig and did not know this was an option in Theme Adjuster. Yeah, this can then be made to work, I think, by expanding the transparent part of the tcp pngs. I'll try setting this up later when I get time to tweak. I will still need an equivalent in the mcp, but this is progress.

Is there a sample of the track view, all I see is the mixer view.
I hope this version of version 6 theme doesn't have all the issues of the theme that is included with version 6.

I look at the jan22 version and saw no major change.
To get to controls that appeared available without right click to get to them are not available.
My favorite theme is "Reaerah", don't have to go through all kinds of bs to use.
When someone makes a decent theme for ver 6 then I will get a license, until then my DAW will be ver 5

Nobody said the upgrade is obligatory. Maybe your favourite theme will be updated?
There wasn't any major changes, but then I like the Reaper 6 theme, so I like this and I am quite happy to swap between this tweaked version of the theme and the original.
Maybe you would like this one, which is sharp and clear?:

For my own use I prefer your last version. Not keen on the oversized elements when using 150% size and the colours in the mixer inserts (used at full screen here) seem to exaggerate contrast in a way that doesn't appeal on my screen - used this way. Underlined for emphasis - these elements may be welcome with your set up.
Even so I appreciate your theme variant, and ongoing developments.

Oh, in that case I've done something wrong as your take on the 6 theme has never worked with the 6 theme adjuster here (it's always greyed out).
This variant on the main theme is looking good again though.
