May it be that all the background (arrange view etc.) is way darker than before?

Do you mean compared to 1.8? Yes, this is the version with a dark background of the arrange view. Compared to beta6, is the same.

Yeah right, compared to 1.8. But the classic color hasn't been modified? I'm actually trying the the at my notebook, so I'm still not sure how it will translate on my usual desktop pc. Is there any changelog available?

Everything is changed since 1.8. I didn't make a changelog but functionality-wise everything works the same except the MCP track label (switched with track no.) and MCP folder icons (moved next to the track no.).

I did many changes since 1.8, the most notable additions would be:
+ Flat TCP + flatter and cleaner TCP/MCP (no more db peaks on tcp vertical meters)
+ Larger and more visible fader caps (there are also some small versions inside some folders)
+ New layouts, also TCP and MCP separators
+ Many bugfixes (also found in the default version)

Great Theme, thank you!
I noticed the colors in the midi editor got a bit brighter, nice..
One thing i noticed with a tracktemplate where the tracks are saved as "silver default MCP". When loaded the tracks actually lokked like "silver large" tracks. In the MCP track layout settings there was no layout checked. I changed it back and now it works fine.

One thing i'd like to change is the way selected tracks are highlited. is it possible to change the color? i tried to change it in the theme editor but it didn't work. or better a colored border around the selected track. I tried to paste the tcp_bgsel file from another theme into the themezip file but i had no luck..

any hints?

I had to rename some of the layouts to keep the menus "clean", so you'll have to re-enable them. I promise I won't change them again in the next updates.

What layout do you want to be more highlighted? You have to change tcp_bgsel.png on the corresponding layout folder (except classic tcp - this one have the files on the root folder). The easiest way is to unzip it and work with the _unpacked version.

ah, thanks a lot!
I took the bgsel files from the "NotMyFault-minus-minus" theme. i think it works for all layouts but doesn't look very good so maybe i edit the files myself..

Somehow the font which is used for labeling tracks doesn't look exactly the same as in the pictures you posted... is there a setting in theme editor or somwhere else to choose the used font? i tried to install the font into the windows folder but got the message that the font is already installed (from the last beta version of the theme).

Otherwise this is definitely my favourite theme!

Looks great! I think my only complaint is that the font is a little small and hard to read.

It might be because of my system dpi settings (changed to 115% in my control panel - display).

Go to Preferences > Theme editor, look for "Track Title Font" and increase font size (currently set at 7). Please post a screenshot to see how it looks on your system afterwards (please specify your monitor resolution and if PC or Mac).

Later Edit: I just tested it, and it's because of the DPI settings. Increase the font size to 8 or 9 and you're set. Thanks for bringing this up, I will make size 8 as default in the next release.

For me it looks like this with font size 8 on XP32 and 1920x1080 resolution.
The font looks pixelated and not as smooth..

Looks like the mixer view folder indicators are a tad buggy here, really liking the overall feel though

I'm working on the light version right now. I am also trying to put 2 themes in one file but i'm not sure if it's possible. If it's not, I will upload 2 separate themes - one with a light background and one with a dark one.

You can also change a lot of settings (including track background color) in Options > Preferences > Theme Editor.

If you want to make yourself a light beta until I release it you will need to rename item_bg.png to itembgsel.png and viceversa. Then, you'll have to change peaks color too, to work with the new item_bg color.

+1 for a light version. I would be careful not to make it too light though.

I dig the dark version, but one thing that bothers me is the grid lines. The subdivisions are super light while the bar divisions are dark. I think they should be the other way around, and the contrast between the two a little lower in general, if that makes sense. Not sure if that's what's intended or if it just looks like that for me. I've attached a screenshot.

Hi, one, this theme is tops, I lurve it!

Two, is there any way my lazy ass can talk you into putting a width slider right below the pan on the default TCP? There's an open space there just begging for it...

Or if anyone can tell me what to put in my rtconfig file to achieve this, I would be grateful. I've already modding it some, but it's time consuming and unpredictable when you don't know what you're doing...

only other thing i would change is to put the MCP track labels by the track icons, to see both at a glance... and the mcp recording meter arm button looks a little inconsistent color-wise. i can live with it though. ok that's all.

Hi mate, how do you make your Item wave shape to look like yours in your screenshot? Yours look like the one from Logic or Cubase 7. Any tip? Thanks
