Default Automating ReaEQ

This is a noob question so forgive me - but I was looking in Reaper's automation page about which parameters I can automate on a track with the ReaEQ plugin, and there doesn't seem to be a way to automate a bandwidth slope? Like your typical 6 db 12 db per octave, etc.

There's a slider you can play around with, but how can I toggle that parameter as an automation lane?

In the list I see freq. gain high pass frequency, low pass, etc. but I'm not sure which or if there is the option for the slope.

Cheers!

You need to automate the bandwidth you can either select it with the automation window or in ReaEQ do this in order:

- click on the band you want to automate
- click on the parameter you want to automate
- click on "param"
- click on "show track envelope"

I guess your are looking for Q-factor or just Q-Band ?
More elegant is DaveKeehl's approach.

that's because you can't change the slope of the filters, they are 12dB/oct.
