how do i adjust the grid accordingly???? so im time selecting between the bars that the tempo changes and then goes back to the original tempo but cant for the life of me work out how to change the grid so it goes from 102 to 104 as needed..? appreciate some help.

I am surprised no one has answered this question yet

I will outline, as best I can, using words only, how I do this

in the TCP (track control panel) make sure that the Master track is visible

I do this by opening the Track Manager window from the View drop down menu... I think the default is T, but may be I set that myself some time ago and can't remember if that is the case

you can now open up the Envelopes selection window and at the bottom you will see the option for the Tempo map envelope... make sure that it is selected and visible

you can now add point at where you want the tempo changes to be

changing the point shape allows you to have abrupt changes in tempo or a gradual change

apologies if this doesn't make sense... I rarely make use of tempo changes and it may well be that I am doing it all wrong, which is why I was seeing if someone else would answer first

cheers, and good luck,

andy
