On project loading - help to see wich plugin is slow or stucked, let user cancel it

Hi,

I often have problems with some Native Instruments Plugins which block the loading of a project.

The only workaround I've found is to load the project with offline FX mode and activate VSTs one by one (which can be 50+ plugins). Then sometimes It still stuck and I have to restart all the process. It happened to me at rehearsals so really annoying when you have a full band waiting for the computer to load.

So, here is my feature request:

1. Display a window on project loading where we can see which plugin is on loading on which track
2. At best if the loading process code permit it, let the user cancel the loading of a plugin and put it offline

The benefits
Give the user the opportunity to:
- Easier debugging of not loadable projects
- See which plugin are slow
- Remember the plugins of the project and put offline if the user see a plugin that is no longer used
- have a DAW that can be more reliable in rehearsal/live

In the fx browser, right click your problematic NI plugs and set to run as dedicated or separate process. I used to find this necessary for NI plugins. I don't anymore for whatever reason, but when they were causing problems this helped. If a plugin is set this way and still causes problems, it's a real good idea to stop using it or make sure it's the latest version.

Thank you Asteria, I didn't know this feature.

I tried your tip but sadly Kontakt/Kontrol still stuck and it seems that they don't update Kontakt 5 anymore at this time.
