big praise for the media explorer work, thanks for all of the updates there. it's not a particularly glamorous feature of any software, but it's so important.

ending another year with REAPER! it's been a particularly great development year to watch. this has all been very rewarding to participate in, thank you guys for all that you do.

I was just joking about all the uproar we've seen over release phrases, and the fact that a hex editor will let you change text in a binary file, provided the number of characters is exactly the same, which my alternate phrase was.

Ever since v6.17 Reaper will hang after (maybe) saving the project. Instant beachballing. I have to force quit it. I think it saves it but then exiting hangs. I'm on OSX Catalina V10.15.7 . Quite annoying. V6.15 works and exits as expected. My production machine for the most part stays OFFLINE. However I am wondering why after these updates this is happening. I keep all my plugins up to date and I barely have any peripheral things running. I can supply a diag file if anyone (Justin?) would like it. I hC users been having this issue? I didn't actually change it, but was joking that this phrase,
