IAnother question. This time about Reapack
I've found a .so a .dll and build instructions.
Which one do I use? lol I assume that the .so is the .dll that is already done up with linvst and should go in the directory with the linvst.so But does the .dll need to go there as well?

The .so is a native Linux binary. The .dll is only for Windows or Wine.
ReaPack is a REAPER extension plugin (not a VST). Extensions go in the UserPlugins directory inside of REAPER's resource folder (usually ~/.config/REAPER/UserPlugins for non-portable installs) Alternatively you can use Options > Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder to open the resource folder.

DUHHHH!!!
I am such a bonehead! Totally missed that the config directory is a hidden directory. I just thought my screen was dirty and realised there is a . at the beginning. Working good now. Thank you for putting up with me living up to my name. **sheepishly sinks into the dark shadows of the room hoping nobody notices**
