Same here. The emails confirming the order, providing the invoice, and finally the serial number arrived within a minute or two of placing the order.

Thanks. I got the links and the serial # about 30 minutes after I purchased the plug. Can't wait to try it out.

Ok. I've got a new problem. Reaper can't load this vst. I've installed it in program files and my vst plugins folder but when reaper scans the vst's it gives me an error everytime it tries to scan breverb.

Also I assume it will ask me for the serial the first time I actually get it to work right?

Thanks again in advance.

Dumb question - You're sure you got the VST and not the RTAS or Standalone versions? I had no problem at all loading the plugin.

And yes, as soon as you load it the first time the serial # dialog pops up. I just did a quick copy/paste - done!

How does this compare to CSR reverb?

got my serial, this is a really nice plugin. did a quick A/B against some other reverbs (ambience, epicverb, SIR) and there's a really nice density to the low-mids without it getting honky or weirdly built-up or unnatural. this is going to come in handy i reckon.

I'm a idiot. Musta downloaded the mac vst by mistake. D'oh! I just downloaded the PC vst at work and it installed no problem.

Thanks.

BTW check out this free plate as well.

http://www.vacuumsound.de/plugins.html

The poor plate is pretty damn good although I'm dying to A/B it with breverb.

Pretty decent sounding, 'though unfortunately appears to be one of those broken plugins that requires fixed-size buffers, at least in FLS

I just purchased it in the UK.

Within minutes, I got an email containing the download links for various versions and a separate email containing the code.

Me again.

Ok so I DIDN'T download the wrong version. It installed fine on my work laptop but on my home PC REAPER gives me an error when I scan the VST directory and Soundforge just skips it entirely as if it wasn't even there. This is really frustrating. I installed some randome VST's and they all were recognized without incident.

Any ideas???

Is your home PC an older AMD without SSE2 extensions?
My internet PC had the same problem (AMD3000), BReverb was crashing everytime, but it works very well on my music PC intel core2duo.

It might just be, as it's just an ad to get you to upgrade to the full version a few bucks cheaper.

It is an old AMD Athlon system. I'm not sure about SSE2.

The work laptop is intel core 2 duo.

Can anyone confirm or deny problems with Breverb and older AMD systems?

AMD X2 4200 here, and it works fine. May very well be an SSE2 problem then.

That means your PC can't handle plugins SSE2 extensions AFAIK.

OK so my Athlon XP 2100+ definitely doesn't do SSE2.
However, the requirements mention nothing about SSE2 AND it lists PIII and athlon XP as being compatible in the min requirements:

PC

* Pentium® III 1GHz / Athlon™XP 1GHz
* 512MB of RAM
* Windows® XP
* 1024x768 screen.
* BREVERB supports the VST Plug-in format on Windows based systems.

Something is wrong but I don't think its SSE2

Its a paid product. Have you tried their support?

Thanks to the OP

It took 3 times to get the PayPal transaction done (NOT international) but I guess the 3rd time was a charm.

Great stuff, and well worth the $4.99.
