Unfortunately, and ironically given that white paper describes a "standard metadata digital delivery system," Soundminer metadata is a proprietary format that only Soundminer can read and write.
Some of those fields are available in various format-specific metadata schemes, like ID3 for MP3, but none of them can be universally applied to any file format.
The "right" way to do open metadata would be to use a flexible format like APEv2 for various file formats. If Soundminer had done that instead of a proprietary format, it would have been just as useful for them, or at least for their users and also their non-users.
