Default Virtual Horns

Hoping that someone may have some experience with virtual horns.
I bought Session Horns recently but realize now it's not exactly what I'm looking for. So, I'm hoping to get some feedback on an upgrade. I'm wondering if Session Horns Pro is the way to go or is there something else?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

I'm sure it depends, somewhat, on what type of production you're doing.
What was missing in Session Horns?

I'm not sure. Maybe looking for a fuller sound. I've only had it for a few days so I'm still working on it. I was probably impatient and didn't work with it enough. However I'd still like to get some feedback from people.

I also just bought Session horns and am on my way to use it in a live situation,

Of course they did the pro version to provide more power (6 instead of 4 voices, more instruments) and versatility (more articulations and it features key switches to select them).

Triple the price, but you get the full standard price back when upgrading.

Not sure what you mean by "you get the full standard price back...
Let me know your thoughts after your gig.

Thanks,

I'm learning. The more I use use the horns the more I like what they produce. I wish there were some standalone horns like sax, etc but I'll work with it.
Thanks,

For solo wind instruments take a look at "Sample Modeling" and "Audio Modeling".

If you have Native Instruments Reaktor check out the freebies from Chet Singer:

I bought Session Horns as a stopgap & happily managed to get Chris Hein Compact Horns at a super bargain sale price. Between the two I can now do pretty much anything pop jazz or r `nb soul that I need. I did demo Session Horns Pro & I didn't think it would have been as good as CHCH, but I DID get a mega deal at £150 for the lot!

Thanks for the replies. I'm starting to work better with Session Horns and I like it. However there are a couple of things I think I'd like to have that are not in Session Horns. I'll check out Chris Hein.
